We charge $50 per 10,000 words for light editing, which includes:

  • Spelling, grammar, and punctuation
  • Capitalization
  • Numbers
  • Table of contents

We charge $75 per 10,000 words for medium editing, which includes all of the above, plus correctness and consistency in these areas:

  • Content and style
  • Audience
  • Logic and clarity
  • Word usage

We charge $100 per 10,000 words for heavy editing. In heavy editing, we look for all of the above, plus these issues:

  • Redundancies
  • Wordiness, triteness
  • Vague generalizations
  • Weak sentence style
  • Organizational weakness
  • Lack of focus

We charge $50 for a novelette (20,000 words or less), $100 for a novel (20,001-100,000 words), $150 for a long novel (100,001 words and up).

We format manuscripts for both print and e-book. Our prices for this vary based on the scope of the project. Style, pictures, word count and details required will effect the total price. Basic formatting including a simple print format  and Kindle e-book format begin with a base prices of $50.

We also format manuscripts that are to be submitted to publishers and literary agents, ensuring that your project is up to industry standards. If you are using our editing services, this will only cost you an additional $10, regardless of the manuscript’s length. If you choose not to use our editing services, then the same prices apply as for print and e-book prices.
